Mästerhuset is a major mixed-use 30,000m² redevelopment in the heart of Stockholm’s central business district. From the outset the project was a game changer and was the first LEED Platinum building in central Stockholm.

Combining high end office for major international and local clients as well as hospitality and retail areas. Site logistics were critical in the development of this project as the scheme comprised complete demolition and site clearance followed by construction activity that had to be implemented over and around an existing underground service road and adjoining car parking areas – all of which had to remain operational throughout the duration of the contract.

As Design Managers Aurora procured, briefed and managed the Swedish design team to deliver a comprehensive co-ordinated design proposal. We did this while simultaneously providing technical input to ensure that the Swedish industry standard construction contract fully reflected a considered approach to the apportionment of risk and that programme delivery was very clearly defined from the outset.
